AWS Upgrade April 22 2017 at 8:00AM MDT - Absorb 4 and 5 on Canadian Servers

On Saturday 22 April 2017 at 08:00 MDT, Absorb LMS will be upgrading its Canadian Absorb4 and Absorb5 environments from our current hosting provider (RackForce/TeraGo) to Amazon Web Services’ newly launched Canada region (ca-central-1). We expect this to take about 30-60 minutes. Note that this change will only impact clients on a .ca server.

To prepare for this change, clients that have explicit whitelisting rules for their Custom SMTP Servers, External Payment Gateways, Integrations, and/or LDAP/LDAPS Authentication will have to add our new IP Addresses to their whitelist rules. Our new IP Addresses for this region are and .

Absorb has been using Amazon Web Services for its other regional Absorb LMS deployments since 2012. We are thrilled to bring the performance, scalability, redundancy, and high-availability features of AWS to our Canadian clients.
