This release is planned for deployment on July 30, 2017. Please note: all features listed here are subject to change prior to deployment. Releases are deployed at 8:00 PM MST. Users may experience errors, or be logged out of their session when using the LMS at that time.
Reminder/Nudge Email Hours Option When setting up an ILC or Online Course, Admins now have the option of determining how many hours in advance the Session Reminder, or Nudge email is delivered.
Administrator Accounts With CC Email Addresses Outbound messages from Absorb will now send a copy of each message to Admins with email addresses present in the CC Email Addresses field within their account. This new functionality only works for message templates that have the Send to Administrator toggle, and it is enabled. As always, the Admin must also be designated as an Administrator for the Department or Group.
Course Type Added to RESTful API Calls The Course Type will now be returned for the CoursesController RESTful API calls (see list below). This will allow Admins to determine what the Course Type, and consume that data through API calls.
Answer-Based Actions for Surveys Admins can now link a Custom Field to a free-form Survey answer where the Survey has Action-Based Answers enabled. This will allow Admins the ability to have Users complete Surveys, and have their answers show up in Custom Fields in the User's profile. Please note that there is a limit of 255 characters.
E-Commerce Transaction Approval Improvements have been made to error handling and Transaction reports for portals with E-Commerce enabled. Additionally, Admins now have the option to manually approve pending transactions in the event that one was not processed as expected. E.g. an end-user was not provided an active account or the purchased learning content after finalizing their transaction.
Total Course Comments When viewing the Learner Activity, or Course Summary Report, Admins now have the option of adding a Total Comments column. This will provide the total number of comments made by each User, or on each Course respectively. Please note that the Total Comments column in the Course Summary report will count comments across all sessions within a single ILC.
Scheduled Job Performance Changes Improvements have been made on the server side to ensure that any scheduled jobs, such as emails, are handled more effectively.
