This article will guide you through supporting Create enablement and license assignment. License updates and re-assignments are occasional, but minor, tasks when maintaining an LI client.
Pre-requisite Information
Ensure that you have verified the following information from a CSM/AM ticket:
- The number of paid licenses to be enabled
- The Portal ID and server environment
- Main contact name, and additional license holder names
CA enablement would be completed on paid subscriptions only. Create licenses are assigned to individual users, avoid hot seat addresses like "admin@lms.com" or "course.dev@lms.com".
Create Enablement
1. Open the server environment, and find the client by Portal ID.
2. Select "Edit Client", then Turn ON Absorb Create. The client should be a paying customer of Create, and may only need to have the Trial
License Assignments (and re-assignments)
1. Open the server environment, and find the client by Portal ID.
2. Look up the User profile
3. Activate the "Creator" Role, and assign the Workspaces
