Clients using the Authorize.Net payment gateway may have recently received a notification from the provider regarding an issue that arose on March 21st, 2016. This issue resulted in unmasked credit card numbers being returned in the response data following a successful e-commerce transaction. This issue occurred during a six hour window, and was promptly resolved by Authorize.Net themselves.
Our development team has investigated this issue on our side and have determined that none of the exposed information was stored in our database. Any data transmitted between the LMS and Authorize.net remained encrypted and secure. Essentially, Absorb LMS can give a clean bill of health (on our end) related to the security of your learners' sensitive information surrounding this issue!
