Known Issue: Articulate Storyline 2 Update 5

We are currently investigating an issue that is preventing progress through Tin Can assessments that have been published from the most recent version of Articulate Storyline 2.

 

"Update 5" was released on May 7th, 2015 and is introducing errors when attempting to relay question/answer data back to the LMS. At this time we recommend clients avoid adopting Update 5 until these issues have been fully investigated/fixed by our development team. Updates will be provided in this article as they become available.

    Happy to report that this issue should now be fully resolved in regards to Update 5 for Articulate Storyline as of our 5.13.1 update.

    We are having a problem with Storyline 2 Update 7: 1509.1408 working in the Absorb LMS. We use Tin Can and we are seeing random errors - a simple "jump to next slide" trigger on slide 8 of the course generated an error message that says "Cannot connect to server" (note: previous slides that use the same trigger was fine, so we think it's a boundary/limit error on your end). The identical course published using Update 4: 1501.717 did not encounter this issue and we're able to complete the course successfully.

    Are these issues only apparent when using Tin Can?  We are having issues with courses playing on iPads.  THe courses were created in earlier Articulate versions that have only begun to show in recent weeks.
