The Content Replacement Activity Report provides you with access to review the details of the content replacement which has been most recently completed for a given Online Course. This report is specific to Absorb Content replacements only. This report will only return courses where at least one content replacement has taken place.
The purpose of this report is to provide a summary of the Content Replacement which has been made, and to enable you to validate if the replacement action was successful.
The Content Replacement Activity Report is located in the Courses tab, below Absorb Content on the left side of the Admin Interface.
The Content Replacement Activity Report will launch using the standard Report Layout where you can:
- Edit Online Courses
Be mindful that opening a report may also bring up a favorite Saved Layout or shared default organizational Report Layout.
Report Data
You can customize this report to provide the most relevant data and tailor it to your preferences. The following data fields which are the columns in the report are listed below:
- Fields that have an asterisk (*) symbol are included in the report’s default layout.
- Data displayed aligns to the most recent content replacement for each Online Course.
Data Column | Description |
Category | This column displays the Category of the Online Course where the replacement took place. |
Content Replacement ID | This column displays the Replacement ID automatically generated by the LMS when content is replaced. |
Course date Edited | This column displays the date the Online Course was last edited. |
Course External ID | This column displays the External ID for the Online Course where the replacement took place. |
Course ID | This column displays the Course ID for the Online Course where the replacement took place. |
Course Name* | This column displays the Course Name for the Online Course where the replacement took place. |
Course Status | This column displays the Status of the Online Course where the replacement took place. |
Original Content Author | This column displays the Author for the Content Course which was replaced. |
Original Content Name* | This column displays the Title of the Content Course which was replaced. |
Original Content Type | This column displays the Content Type of the Content Course which was replaced. |
Original Contract Name | This column displays the Contract Name of the Content Course which was replaced. |
Original Lesson External ID | This column displays the External ID of the Content Course which was replaced. |
Replaced By* | This column displays the Username of the Admin that performed the Content Replacement action. |
Replaced Content Author | This column displays the Author for the replacement Content Course. |
Replaced Content Name* | This column displays the Title for the replacement Content Course. |
Replaced Contract Name | This column displays the Contract Name for the replacement Content Course. |
Replaced Lesson External ID | This column displays the External ID for the replacement Content Course. |
Replacement date* | This column displays the date when the Content Replacement action took place. |
Replacement Succeeded* | This column indicates the status of the Content Replacement action, one of the following is displayed:

Report Actions
When a line item is selected on the report, it is possible to Edit the respective Online Course to configure the settings of that Course.
This report does not have any multi-select actions.
Report Roles & Permissions
Below are the required Role Permissions the Admin will need to access this report and access the data which appears on the report.
Please note:
- Your environment may use customized Role(s), Permissions, or a combination of both to perform these activities.
