This release is planned for deployment on August 12, 2018.

Please note: All features listed here are subject to change prior to deployment. Releases are deployed at 10:00 AM Mountain Time and are expected to take up to 60 minutes. Users will not be able to use the LMS during this time. A maintenance page will be displayed to all users who attempt to use the LMS.

Course Uploads (New Learner Experience)

Course uploads is a new section inside courses that allows administrators to create and outline required items that a learner must upload in order to complete a course. An admin can provide instructions for the uploads, determine whether the upload requires administrator approval and manage the uploads from the Course Upload Report.

Integration with Zoom*

Absorb's Zoom integration allows admins to create meetings with Zoom Instructors via Absorb ILC sessions. Instructors/Administrators will be be able to log into Zoom to see the meetings that they are scheduled to host. Learners will see the Zoom Meeting URL and launch into the meeting via their ILC course page. 

 

* Unfortunately this feature will not be available to our clients immediately after the 5.62 release. It will be made available shortly after and we will keep you posted in our Announcements Forum

Integration with BizLibrary

Absorb's BizLibrary integration allows administrators to import BizLibrary courses as well as make use of the BizLibrary lesson type, to create blended courses that contain both Absorb and BizLibrary content. Admins will assign, manage and automate user licensing to control user access to BizLibrary content and can filter the Courses page, by Bizlibrary for a quick, easy look.

External Training (New Learner Experience)

External Training, is a new feature that allows administrators to create and manage external training templates and tie them to departmental dashboards. Learners can fill out the template provided to them via their dashboard, in order to record training taken outside the LMS. Once submitted and approved (if required as per the Admin) the training will appear in the Learners transcript along side all other completed courses.

Approval/Denied Logins

For enhanced security the approval/denied links that an administrator/supervisor receives in the Approval Request email will take them to the login page, where they will be able to approve or deny upon login.

Enhanced Session Recurrence

More streamline ability to edit and create reoccurring ILC sessions. Administrators will be able to select more re-occurrence options such as daily, weekly, on weekdays, monthly, etc. A corresponding icon will be beside each session on admin side to show which recurrence is being used. Learner will see the reoccurring classes listed out under their selected session in the LMS.

Username Column- Ratings Report

The username column will be available in the Ratings Report so that users can be more easily identified by administrators.
