All courses are shown for a user no matter what the status of the course is, however by clicking on the filter logo with a + on the left-hand side, a user has more possibilities within the searched item.

By clicking on the advanced filters, the page automatically refreshes to give a user the result.

A user has options to filter for the courses by enabling/disabling the toggle for:

  • Show Categories all the courses that are shown in categories
  • Show completed all the courses that are completed

Another option is to filter by a course type by choosing:

  • Instructor Led course
  • Curriculum

By choosing a dropped down menu in Advanced Filter a user can filter courses in relation to

  • Tags
  • Venue location
  • Venue type
  • Vendor

Next, a user can search for a course by choosing a dropped down menu on the right-hand side. This filter includes the following: Courses to be searched by:

  • Date enrolled
  • Recent activity
  • Expiry date
  • Alphabetical order
  • Mandatory courses

As an addition to filters an icon next to it provides a user with a three different card views and a calendar.

Calendar gives a user an option to filter for a course based on:

  • Venue Location by choosing the Country from the dropped down menu
  • State/Province
  • City

Another option is to filter based on either the type of a course:

In summary, searching functionalities slightly vary in the numbers of filters provided for the items like  Catalog and Resources but the logic remains the same.
