Overview
Widgets are an element of the Dashboard which are configured to display a dynamic visualization of data. Widgets can be a standard report view with columns of data or can be configured to be a visual representation of data.
You can download Widgets to share them with others outside of the Analyze environment. For example, you can attach them to emails, include them in your own reports, and save them individually for use at a later date.

Instructions
Downloading a Widget
You are able to download a Widget from both the Dashboard and Edit Widget views:
- In Dashboard view, click on the Widget’s menu, select Download, and select the relevant file type.
- In the Edit Widget view, click on the download icon, and select Download and then the relevant file type.
Download File Types
PNG Image File
Downloading a Widget as an image is useful for presentations, website graphics, emails, etc. The Widget image is downloaded in PNG format.
The image size will reflect the size of the Widget on the screen when you download it. To create a larger image, enlarge the Widget space in the Dashboard, or open the Widget in edit view.
CSV File
Downloading the data captured by a Widget in a CSV file is useful for data imports. CSV file downloads strip all formatting and will only display the raw data from the Widget. If you have applied any filters, that filtered data is the data included in the file.
PDF File
Downloading a Widget as a PDF includes several options in order to configure the PDF to your preferences.
You can apply the following settings:
- Paper Size: The size of the email report in the PDF.
- Orientation: The orientation of the Widget in the PDF, landscape or portrait.
- Header: The header is displayed on the top of each page for your PDF report. In the preview area, click the Header to edit the text, its size, and alignment.
- Footer: Select Page Number to display the page number in the footer on each page of the report.
Widget-specific notes:
- Table Widgets: You can customize how your table is displayed in your PDF including the table’s orientation and page size.
- Pivot Tables: In the PDF Report Settings, the first 14 pages of your Pivot Table are displayed in the preview window, however, when you export your Pivot table to PDF, the entire table is included, up to 1,000 rows on multiple pages. The system automatically removes the excess rows.
Excel File
You are able to download the data described by a Widget in an Excel file. Any active filters, layout structures, and masks applied to your Widget data are exported as well. For example, if you have modified how numbers are formatted in the Widget, these modification are included in your exported Excel file.
