The Absorb Aura app for Microsoft Teams provides Learners access to the Aura Learner Agent without leaving Teams. This allows Learners to ask questions and discover courses from within Teams, no LMS login required.

Before adding Aura to your Microsoft Teams, ensure that Teams is installed on your device and the Aura Learner Agent is available.

Access Aura for Microsoft Teams

Learners can add the Aura app to their Microsoft Teams instance to access the Learner Agent without navigating away from Teams. Note that this application only supports the Aura Learner Agent at this time. Multi-chat support is not available in Aura for Microsoft Teams, but is available in the LMS and the Aura extension for Google Chrome. 

Adding Aura to Teams

Follow these steps to add Aura to your Microsoft Teams app:

1. In Teams, click on the + Apps button in the left-hand side panel.
   
    
2. Locate Absorb Aura on the Apps screen, or use the search bar to locate it.
   
   
   
    
3. Click Add. If you find Aura through the search bar, you may need to click Add twice.
   
    
4. Once complete, click Open to start using Aura in Teams. 
   

Using Aura in Teams 

Absorb Aura can be accessed either through the View more apps icon in the left-hand sidebar, or in the Absorb Aura chat in your Teams app. 

You can enter your own questions, or use the View prompts option to view Prompt Suggestions from Absorb Aura.

 

If you don't have access to the Absorb LMS, Aura will display a message asking you to visit the LMS to get access.
