A Note: Deployment timelines follow the release timeline above. New features may take up to one week after deployment to become available in your environment.

This release removes the manual request process that previously gated the LTI Registration tile in Client Settings. The tile is now available by default in every Absorb Portal, so clients no longer need to submit a request to Absorb Support to begin configuring LTI 1.3 integrations.

No new functionality is introduced.

A Note

This release changes only the visibility of the LTI Registration tile. The underlying LTI 1.3 Consumer Mode feature set, supported services, and configuration steps are unchanged.

Updated Features

The following change updates how the LTI Registration tile is provisioned. It preserves all existing LTI 1.3 Consumer Mode functionality, registered tools, and configuration steps.

LTI Registration Tile Enabled by Default

When LTI 1.3 Consumer Mode was first released, the LTI Registration tile in Client Settings was hidden behind a client feature flag. To make the tile visible, a Client Account Manager had to submit a request to Absorb Support, who would enable the flag at no cost to the client.

Following this release the LTI Registration tile is now available by default in every Portal, and clients can begin registering LTI 1.3 tools without first contacting Absorb Support.

Accessing the LTI Registration Tile

After deployment, you can access the LTI Registration tile directly from Client Settings. To locate the tile, follow these steps:

  1. From the Admin Experience, open the Account menu and click Client Settings.
  2. Locate the LTI Registration tile.
