Absorb Aura September 2026 Release

This release delivers Department Selection and Edit Connections functionality for Aura External Knowledge.

A Note: Deployment timelines are as per the release timelines above. New features may take up to one week to become available in your environment after deployment.

 

This release introduces Department selection for Aura External Knowledge, allowing Administrators to enable access for Aura External Knowledge on a Department-level basis. Administrators can also edit existing External Knowledge connections to modify which folders and files are synced through that connection. 

 

New Features

New features rolling out to Absorb Aura including the Department Selector for Aura External Knowledge. This update allows Administrators to enable access to Aura External Knowledge on a Department-level basis. 

 

Department Selector for Aura External Knowledge

Administrators can enable Aura External Knowledge for certain Departments when configuring Aura for Specific Learners. A Department's Sub-Departments can optionally be included as well.

Updated Features

Updates to existing Absorb Aura features in this release include Edit Connections for Aura External Knowledge. This update allows Administrators to edit an existing connection in External Knowledge to add or remove files, while retaining the connection settings and Availability Rules.

 

Edit Connections for Aura External Knowledge

Administrators can edit an existing External Knowledge connection to add or remove files while retaining Availability Rules. This allows greater flexibility when managing External Knowledge connections, and allows Administrators to make changes quickly without needing to delete and re-connect an External Knowledge source.
