Adding & Configuring Pages

Once you have created a Course in Absorb Create, you can add more pages to include additional content. Absorb Create offers several ways to customize these pages, including images, backgrounds and colors. In this article, we will go through the different tools and options available when adding and editing pages in Create.

Whitelisting for File Uploads

Please note that your IT team must whitelist the Filestack domains filestackapi.com and filestack.com to upload your own files to Create.

Add a Page to a Course

  1. Click the + button located in the header of the course editor.

    • This will open the Theme Templates pop-up window. From here, you can preview all of the slides that belong to your selected theme, view other theme slide options, or choose to insert specialty pages, such as Video.

  2. Click the thumbnail image of a layout to select and add it to your course.

  3. Enter the Page name when prompted. Click the Continue button.

  4. You will return to your Course with the page template you just selected.

Change the Page Background

You can easily change a page background to a color or image.

  1. Click the > Background button located in the right-hand Settings menu.
    • This action will expand the Background settings area.

  2. Choose a background format option by clicking its radio button:
    • Color
    • Image

  3.  Configure your background type:

    • Color

      1. Click the Color preview tile to open the color picker tool. You can choose from your theme colors and tones or create a custom color by entering the Hex code, RGBA values, or selecting a color from the color grid.

      2. After you have made your choice, click the Choose button.
        • The color is applied, and you will return to the newly editing page.

    • Image

      1. You can upload new images or select pictures already in your library from the My Images tab.

      2. Click the Unsplash Library tab to search for and choose high-resolution creative commons licensed photographic images.

      3. After you have made your choice, click the Select button.

        • The image is applied, and you will return to the newly editing page.
