This article explains how System Admins can view and manage Skills license allocation within a term. It outlines key license metrics, term details, and important behaviors that impact Learner access.
Skills License Overview
This section provides a summary of the available Skills licenses within the current term, including usage and qualification details. System Admins can use this information to monitor license distribution and ensure appropriate allocation.
The following metrics are displayed:
- Total Consumable Licenses: The total number of Skills licenses available for the current term.
- Consumed Licenses: The number of licenses that have been used.
- Remaining Licenses: The number of licenses still available.
- Qualified Learners: The number of Learners who meet the qualification criteria defined by the System Admin.
- Term Start Date: The date and time when Skills becomes available in the LMS, based on Portal Default Time (00:00:00).
- Term End Date: The date and time when Skills is no longer available in the LMS, based on Portal Default Time (11:59:59).
Once a term has expired, fields are no longer editable. A new term must be configured to continue using the Skills product.
Once consumed, a Skills license remains assigned to that Learner for the duration of the current term.
If a Learner no longer meets qualification criteria (for example, due to a Department change) after starting a Skills Self-Assessment, they will continue to have access to Skills until the Term End Date.
