The Skills Profile is the new main landing page when the Learner selects their Profile from the Dashboard and/or the main menu. As the Learner progresses through their Skills journey, this page updates with their progress, activity, and metrics. Several main tiles make up the Skills Profile, which are detailed below.

Learning Path Overview

The Learning Path Overview tile tracks the Learner's overall progress on their Learning Path, based on the Desired Role they selected. Progress is calculated based on the number of courses completed versus the total number of courses added to the Learning Path.

Once the Learner completes their Self-Assessment with a role selected, the tile displays the role name. Until a role exists, including when the Learner follows the Skills-only path, the tile displays Skill set in place of Learning Path.

The button on the tile changes based on the Learner's progress:

• Get started: Displayed before the Learner completes their Self-Assessment.
• Add Courses: Displayed after the Self-Assessment is complete, if no courses have been added to the Learning Path.
• Continue: Displayed once the Learning Path contains courses.

The empty-state banner on the Skills Profile also displays Get started before the Learner begins setting up their Learning Path, and Continue if they have started but not finished.

The Continue button opens the Learning Path modal, where the Learner can browse the Courses they have already added, enroll in or start those courses, remove courses, or find additional courses to add.

From the dropdown menu, the Learner can display their Skills Assessment history. This shows all previous Self-Assessments the Learner has completed and the Ratings associated with each relevant Job Skill at that time. For Skills-only Self-Assessments, the history displays Skill set in place of a role.

Once a Learning Path is complete (completed courses equal total added courses), the tile's banner changes state on the page.

My Learning Path Courses

The My Learning Path ribbon displays the courses added to the Learning Path, similar to a ribbon on the Learner Experience (LE) Dashboard, and provides a quick way to enroll in or start a selected Course.

Training Time

The Training Time tile displays the total time the Learner has spent upskilling, as well as a breakdown of time spent on each Job Skill.

The colors for this tile use a high-contrast palette to meet Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 AA conformance requirements. As a result, they do not adapt to theme or template changes.

Learning Path Progress

The Learning Path Progress tile displays a breakdown of the Progress the Learner has made on each Job Skill. Progress is tracked based on the number of courses completed for a given Job Skill versus the number of courses added for that Job Skill. In Skills-only mode, the tile displays Skill set in place of the Job Goal name.

Clicking the View button opens the Learning Path modal, filtered to the selected Job Skill, where the Learner can add more courses for that section. If the Learner adds more courses to their Learning Path, the progress bar updates accordingly.

Learning Path Activity

The Learning Path Activity tile displays a log of Learner activity in the context of the current Learning Path. These events also appear in the regular My Activity feed among the Learner's other LMS activities.

The following events are shown:

• Started Self-Assessment
• Selected Current Role (this field is blank for Role-less Skills)
• Selected Desired Role (this field is blank for Role-less Skills)
• Rated Job Skill(s): the initial rating from the Self-Assessment
• Completed Self-Assessment
• Added a course: course name
• Added a course completed in the past: course name
• Removed a course: course name
• Enrolled into course: course name
• Completed course: course name
• Completed all courses for a Job Skill: skill name
• Levelled Up a Job Skill: skill name
• Learning path 100%: link to Rate Your Skills, which launches the Edit Skills modal

Edit Skills

Learners can update the rating of their Job Skills at any time by clicking the Edit Skills button on the Skills Profile page.

The Edit Skills modal displays a list of all Job Skills assigned to the Desired Role the Learner selected during the Self-Assessment. The list contains both focus Job Skills and any Additional Job Skills the Learner added in their Self-Assessment. The following details apply to ratings in the modal:

• For each Job Skill, the modal shows the most recent Rating, indicating how the Learner rated themselves against the level required for their selected Desired Role.
• If no Rating update has been made, the initial Rating from the Self-Assessment is displayed.
• If the Learner previously updated their rating (via this modal or a Job Skill Complete modal), that rating is displayed.
• An asterisk (*) above the star rating indicates the level the Learner must reach to achieve benchmark proficiency for their Job Goal.
• Updating Ratings does not impact Learning Path progress.
• The Learner can complete the Learning Path without updating the rating for any Job Skills.

Notifications and Prompts

Several notifications and prompts are incorporated into Absorb Skills workflows to help Learners stay engaged with the product and provide guidance on next steps within the flow of their daily activities.

Skills Profile Banner		Learning Path not set up: Visible for a Learner who completes the Self-Assessment but does not follow up by creating the Learning Path.
		Job Skill completed: Displayed when the Learner has completed all Courses for a Job Skill but did not rate themselves when the completion modal was displayed. Remains visible until the rating is done.
		Learning Path completed: Displayed when the Learner has completed all courses in their Learning Path but did not start a new Self-Assessment when the completion modal was shown. Remains visible until the Learner starts a new Self-Assessment.
Job Skill Completed Modal		Shown when the Learner has completed all Courses for a given Job Skill in their Learning Path. The Learner can either update their rating, if they feel ready to move up to the next level, or click Add Courses to spend more time on the subject. This modal is not shown if the last Course in the section was also the last Course in the Learning Path, as the Learning Path Completed modal takes precedence.
Learning Path Completed Modal - Job Role		Displayed once the Learner closes the Course player after completing all Courses in the Learning Path. From here, the Learner can start a new Self-Assessment or add more Courses to their existing Learning Path.
Learning Path Completed Modal - Skills Only		Displayed once the Learner closes the course player after completing all Courses in the Learning Path. In Skills-only mode, no Role is displayed. From here, the Learner can start a new Self-Assessment or add more Courses to their existing Learning Path.
