In this release for Absorb Connectors, we are removing locked fields for Users synced through Connectors. This streamlines the User setup process and allows more flexibility for Admins, while maintaining consistency for user syncs.
This update is exclusive to the Workato connector and does not apply to partner connectors.
Removing Synced Fields
Removing locked fields for user syncs allows Admins to edit all User Profile fields. Previously, certain fields would be locked for synced Users after the initial sync. This change gives Admins greater control over user management and removes the requirement for synced fields to be sent to Absorb prior to user sync.
Admins can review changes to these fields using the audit log.
