This update adds the ability to schedule re-enrollments and to require Course re-enrollment at the Curriculum level.
This release introduces two enhancements to Course and Curriculum re-enrollment. A new Scheduled Enrollments feature can now be used to schedule re-enrollments, and a new Require Course Re-Enrollment toggle lets you reset a Curriculum cycle without duplicating Courses. Both features support recurring, year over year compliance training while preserving existing enrollment history.

The following features are available to Admins with default Admin or System Admin roles, or have the required Course, Curriculum, and Enrollment permissions for custom Admin Roles. Existing enrollment rules and historical records are preserved when using both features.
Scheduled Re-Enrollment for Online Courses and Curricula
Scheduled Enrollments can now be used to schedule Re-enrollments for Online Courses and Curricula, making it easier to manage recurring, year over year training without needing to keep track of enrollment status for Users with existing Course enrollments.
To enable Scheduled Re-Enrollment, a System Admin needs to enable the feature through the Client Settings page using the steps below.
- Navigate to Account > Client Settings.
- Select the Scheduled Enrollments tile.
- Toggle on Enable Scheduled Enrollments, if not already enabled.
-
Toggle on the Enable scheduled re-enrollments toggle.
Once enabled, the following should be taken into account when configuring Scheduled Re-Enrollment:
- Select Custom Date for the Automatic enrollment date value when configuring a Scheduled Enrollment for Re-enrollment.
- Optionally select Add recurrence to set a recurring schedule, using Repeat Every and Frequency to define how often the Re-enrollment runs, for example once every year.
- Recurrence Start Date and Recurrence End Date set when the recurrence pattern begins and ends.

Require Course Re-Enrollment for Curricula
A new Require Course Re-Enrollment toggle in the Curriculum add and edit settings lets you begin a new Curriculum cycle while preserving your existing Course structure and historical records.
- All Course enrollment statuses are reset when a Learner enters a new Curriculum cycle, so each cycle starts fresh.
- The same Courses can be reused across Curriculum years, with no need to create a duplicate Course for each cycle.
- Previous enrollment records remain intact as Historic Enrollments, and only new active enrollments are created on top of them.
- The reset is applied at the point of Curriculum or Course enrollment.
To enable Require Course Re-enrollment for Curricula, a System Admin needs to enable the feature through the Client Settings page using the steps below.
- Navigate to Account > Client Settings.
- Select the Curriculum tile.
- Toggle on Enables the ability to require course re-enrollment for curriculums.
Once enabled, an Admin can enable Require Course Re-enrollment via the Courses section in a Curriculum. Note this only applies to all future enrollments and will not retroactively apply to existing Curriculum enrollments.
