The ILC Calendar gives Learners a calendar view of their Instructor Led Course (ILC) Sessions directly on the My Courses page. From the calendar, Learners can browse Sessions by date, filter and search to find the Sessions that matter to them, and open a detailed ILC card to review a Session and enroll. This article explains how to access the ILC Calendar, refine what it displays, and use the detailed ILC card. These features require the Modern Learner UI.

Accessing the ILC Calendar

The My Courses page can be displayed as a card view, a list view, or a calendar view. To open the ILC Calendar, Learners click the calendar icon in the view controls at the top-right of the page, or from a Tile on the Learner Dashboard. The following image shows the ILC Calendar in its weekly view:

Learners can move through the calendar and change how it is displayed using the controls above the grid:

• The previous and next arrows move to the earlier or later time period.
• Today returns the calendar to the current date.
• Date picker lets Learners jump to a specific date.
• The view menu (for example, Weekly) changes the time range shown on the calendar.

Filtering and Searching the Calendar

The panel on the left of the ILC Calendar lets Learners narrow the Sessions that appear. A Search calendar box at the top of the panel is also available to look up Sessions directly. The following filters can be applied:

• Event type: Filter by the type of event.
• Status: Filter by Session and enrollment status.
• Locations: Filter by Session location.
• Instructors: Filter by instructor.
• Vendor: Filter by vendor.
• Tags: Filter by tag.
• Language: Filter by Course language.

The Status filter lets Learners select one or more of the following statuses:

• Enrolled
• Session required
• Completed
• Pending Approval
• On waitlist
• Full
• Registration starts soon
• Registration ends soon
• Registration closed
• Cancelled
• Failed
• Absent

The Detailed ILC Card

When a Learner clicks a Session on the calendar, the detailed ILC card opens with the Session's key details and quick actions in one place. The following image shows the ILC card for a Session:

The ILC card displays the following details:

• A Session image.
• The Session name and the Course it belongs to.
• An availability status, such as Available.
• The Session duration.
• The scheduled date, start time, and end time.
• A progress bar showing the Learner's completion progress for the Course, such as 0 out of 9 courses complete.
