Overview
Th Questions Report provides a breakdown of all questions for a selected Assessment. It provides a focus on summary data regarding the questions themselves.
The Questions Report can be accessed from the Assessments Report. Select a data row, and then select the action Summary Report to launch the Questions Report automatically filtered for the data row that you have selected.
Tips:
- Be mindful that opening a report may also bring up a favorite saved layout, or a shared default organizational report layout.
- You will only see data that you have access to view. For example, data from Learners that an Admin does not have permission to view will not be included in their report.
Report Data
You can customize this report to provide information on many different data points in order to tailor it to your preferences. The available data fields, which are the columns in the report, are listed below.
Notes
- Fields that have an asterisk (*) symbol are included in the Report's default layout.
- Custom fields configured in your Portal Settings will also be available.
Data Column | Description |
Attempts* | This column displays the number of times that the related Assessment has been attempted |
Correct* | This column displays the correct answer to the Question. |
Correct(%)* | This column displays the percentage of total times that this Question has been answered correctly. |
Default Question Order | If a specific order of Questions has been defined in the Assessment, then this will display that order. |
ID | This column displays the unique identifier for the Question. |
Name* | This column displays the Name of the Question. This is typically a default numeric value. |
Question Bank | If this Question belongs to a Question Bank, then this column will display the name of that Question Bank. |
Question Pool Name | If a this Question belongs to a Question Pool, then this column will display the Name of that Question Pool. |
Question Pool Order | If a this Question belongs to a Question Pool and the questions within that Pool have been assigned to a specific order, then this column will display the ordinal number of this Question in that Question Pool. |
Question Type | This column displays the Type that has been configured for this Question. Options are Multiple Choice or Text. |
Weight | If the Assessment is weighted, then this will calculate the weight value of the particular answer attempt. |
Report Action & Mass Actions
After navigating to a Report, you can perform administrative actions. These action commands become available once a row in the table is selected. The Actions menu is displayed on the right-hand frame of the page. This menu is context-sensitive, so the options for Actions and Mass Actions that are available will change depending on the content you are selecting.
- An individual row selection will open the Actions menu.
- Multiple row selections will open the Mass Actions menu.
Note: Action options are dependent on your individual Admin Role permission(s). Some actions listed in the table below may not be available to all Admins. If you have questions related to your permission set, please contact your local System Admin for details.
The actions listed in the table below are can be applied to a single row item.

Question Details | Click this button to launch a workspace that provides details of the selected question. |
Answers Report |
Click this button to launch the Answers Report automatically filtered for the Assessment that you have selected. This Report provides a breakdown of all questions for the selected Assessment, and with a focus on every answer submitted for each of those questions. |
Deselect | Click this button to clear current selections. |
Report Roles & Permissions
Below are the Required Role Permissions the Admin will need to access this Report and access the data to be populated.
Please note that your environment may use customized Role(s), Permissions, or a combination of both to perform these activities. If you have questions or need assistance, please contact your local System Administrator to review your current permissions.
