Use Video Pages when you want a video to fill the content area of your course. Video Pages support layered interactions and questions, and you can add video by creating a screen recording or by uploading a video file.
Video Page Types
This section explains the two ways to add video to a Video Page in Create.
Screen Recording Page
Use a Screen Recording page when you want to record your screen directly in the course editor and then continue building interactions on top of that recording.
- Click + to Add Page.
- Click Screen Recording.
- Enter a page name.
- Click Continue.
- Choose an audio source.
- Click Start Recording.
- Choose the screen you want to record.
- Click Share.
- Wait for the countdown to finish and for the recording to begin.
- Pause the recording when needed.
- Edit the timeline as needed.
- Resume the recording or use Replace from X to replace the recording from a specific point.
- Click Stop when you are done recording.
- Review the edited video.
- Click Save.
- Enter a name for the video.
- Click Save.
- Wait for the video to finish optimizing.
Your Video Page is then ready for interactions and questions.

- Click Continue.
- In the Media Library, choose how you want to add video.
From the Media Library, you can:

- Choose an existing video.
- Upload a video from your computer by clicking Upload Video.
After you add or select the video, it appears on the Video Page and is ready for interactions and questions.
To upload a file from your computer, click Upload Video at the bottom of the menu.
After the page is added, the Media Library opens so you can select the video that will appear in the content area.
Video Page Panels
This section describes the panels available when you work with a Video Page.
Top Panel
The Top Panel contains course settings, interaction tools, and options for publishing, review, and playback.
Center Panel
The Center Panel is the main workspace. The outer area is the player area, and the inner area contains the content area.
At the bottom of this panel, you can access Play, Volume, the Video Progress Bar, Video Length, Playback Rate Controls, the Full Screen button, and Slide Navigation buttons.
More information about video playback controls is available in the Settings article.
Right Panel
The Right Panel contains the settings for the page or interaction that is currently selected.
Unique Parameters for Video Pages
Most right-panel settings are covered in their related articles. This section covers the parameters that are specific to Video Pages.
Change Video
Use Change Video when you want to replace the current video asset with a different video from the Media Library.
Click Change to open the Media Library, then select the new video you want to display on the page.
Replace from X
When editing a screen recording, use Replace from X to replace the recording from a selected point in the timeline instead of starting the recording over from the beginning.
This option is available while editing a screen recording and gives you more control when updating part of an existing video.
