Under the Availability tab when setting up an Course, Curriculum, Course Bundle, or ILC, it is possible to select more than one Department with regards to Department Visibility settings. It is important to note that Department Visibility has to do with what department an Administrator is managing in their User Management settings and not the department they are a part of.
This will allow multiple Department Admins across multiple Departments to view the course where necessary. The option of choosing a Single Department or All Sub-Departments remains as an additional option when selecting Departments from the drop-down menu.

The article needs to be updated because the Department Availability settings are no longer located under the course Availability tab. They are now under the Course Administrators tab.
