- Updated the Aura Rollout and Availability section to indicate that Aura will roll out between May 15 and June 15. The rollout period has been extended to help ensure a smooth experience for all customers.
Absorb is launching Absorb Aura, a suite of AI Agents designed to help both Learners and Administrators as part of Absorb's intelligent learning and performance system. These agents can answer questions, recommend courses, and provide guidance on how to complete administrative actions in the LMS.

On May 5th, 2026 (North America), we ran a system script in preparation for the upcoming Aura feature. As a result, you may notice some active Online Courses showing a recent Date Edited updated, and a Course History entry with the following information: System Changed OnlineCourse IsAuraEligible From false To true.
This update applies to active Online Courses with supported Lesson types (e.g., Object, Video with uploaded files, and 3rd Party lessons) and prepares them for Aura. It does not impact Course content or behaviour. If Aura is not enabled in your environment, these changes have no effect and no AI processing will occur.
New features rolling out to the LMS as part of Absorb Aura, including Aura Admin Assist, Aura Learner Agent, Aura extension for Google Chrome, and Aura for Microsoft Teams.
Aura features are available to customers who have either signed the required AI terms, or are on Absorb's latest Terms & Conditions. If Aura is not visible in your Portal, engage your Account Manager for assistance.
Aura will roll out between May 15th - June 15th, 2026:
- Aura Learner Agent will be available to enable in Client Settings.
- Aura Admin Assist will be enabled by default for some accounts during rollout, and otherwise available to enable in Client Settings.
- System Administrators can enable or disable Aura features in Client Settings at any time.
Customers who receive Aura Admin Assist enabled by default will be notified via email and in-app messaging.
Aura Admin Assist
Aura Admin Assist is an AI assistant available in the Admin Experience. Administrators can use Aura Assist to answer knowledge questions about the LMS, or to query information about supported Course data.

Aura Learner Agent
The Aura Learner Agent is a suite of AI agents available in the Learner Experience. Learners can use the Aura Learner Agent to discover new content, explore resources, and ask questions about topics in the LMS.

This agent suite enables the following agents to empower Learners in using the LMS:
- Discovery Agent
- Q&A Agent
- Recommendations Agent
- External Knowledge Agent
System Administrators can configure Aura Learner Agent availability in Client Settings for some or all Learners, or specific Groups based on your organization's preferences.
Aura Extension for Google Chrome
Learners can enable the Aura extension in Google Chrome to use the Aura Learner Agent in any browser window.

Aura in Microsoft Teams
The Aura Learner Agent is also available as a fully embedded experience inside Microsoft Teams, where Learners can ask questions and discover courses without leaving Teams. This brings information directly to Learners, without requiring login to the LMS.
