Absorb Aura August 2026 Release

This release delivers Department Selection for the Aura Learner Agent and usage insights for Aura Chats.

All Regions: Thursday, August 27th, 2026  
A Note: Deployment timelines are as per the release timelines above. New features may take up to one week to become available in your environment after deployment.

 

This release introduces Department-level availability selection for the Aura Learner Agent, and usage insights for the Aura Chats report. The Department Selector allow System Administrators to grant access to the Learner Agent on a Department-level basis. New role permissions and Widgets provide greater insight for specific roles into the Aura Chats report. 

 

New Features

New features rolling out to Absorb Aura including the Department Selector for the Aura Learner Agent, and usage insights for the Aura Chats report. 

 

Aura Learner Agent: Department Selector

Admins can select one or multiple Departments when enabling the Aura Learner Agent for Specific Learners. When a Department is selected, Admins can choose whether that Department's sub-Departments are also included. Department selection is only available when the Specific Learners toggle is enabled.

Aura Chats Role Permissions

Admins can now configure access to the Aura Chats report on a role basis when creating new roles. Some roles will have these permissions enabled by default.

 

New Aura Widgets in the Admin Hub

New Widgets in the Admin Hub provide insight into how Learners engage with Aura

These new Widgets are:

  • Total chats
  • Unique users
  • Average chat turns
  • Chat activity

These Widgets draw information from the Aura Chats report and can be added to Dashboards in the Admin Hub.
