User Roles in Absorb Create: Standalone
When managing Users on a standalone Absorb Create account, you can assign one of the following roles. All standalone subscription tiers offer the same set of assignable roles.
- Reviewer: Can access the account and view Courses but cannot make edits. This role suits Users who only need to view and give feedback on Course content.
- Author: Includes all Reviewer access, plus the ability to edit Courses and use the Library. This role builds and changes Course content but cannot publish it.
- Designer: Includes all Author access, plus the ability to edit Themes and Overlay Templates. This role handles visual styling and reusable layouts but cannot publish Courses.
- Publisher: Includes all Author access, plus the ability to publish Courses and view Analytics. Depending on the account's subscription plan, this role may also gain Hosting access.
- Producer: Combines Designer and Publisher access: view and edit Courses, use the Library, edit Themes and Overlay Templates, publish Courses, and view Analytics. Depending on the account's subscription plan, this role may also gain Hosting access.
- Owner: Includes all Producer access, plus the ability to manage Billing, manage all Users, use Workspaces, and delete Courses that already have Learner registrations.
