A Comma-Separated Values file, or CSV, is a type of text file containing values separated by commas. These files contain the ".csv" extension at the end of their file name. These files can be viewed in spreadsheet programs like Microsoft Excel or Google Sheets. Admins can use CSV files to import multiple Users at once into the LMS. In this article, we will outline the steps to bulk upload Users into the LMS using a CSV file.
This article advises specifically on in-Portal functionality for importing Users via CSV files, not paid one time or recurring imports done by our Technical Services team. For more information on custom data imports, see Data Imports.
