Skills are strengthened through practice and training; the more you practice, the stronger your skills become. With Aura Rehearse, Learners can rehearse conversations with an AI persona and receive scored feedback before applying those skills in real situations.
This release enables Aura Rehearse.
Who's affected: Customers who have signed the required AI terms. Look for the Aura configuration tile in Client Settings. If it is not visible, contact your Account Manager.
Important: All eligible Admins can create and publish Rehearsals, but if the new Course Player is not enabled, Learners will not be able to take the Course. Admins should ensure that they upgrade to the new Course Player prior to enrolling Learners into a Rehearsal.
Default state: On for eligible customers.
Admin impact: Admins with permission to add and edit Courses can add Rehearsals to Online Courses; no role changes are required. Access to Rehearsal reports is controlled by the new Rehearsals role permission. It is enabled by default for the System Admin, Admin, and Reporter roles.
New features coming to Absorb Aura including Aura Rehearse, Rehearsal reporting, and credit usage insights for Rehearsals.
Aura Rehearse
With Aura Rehearse, Learners practice a real conversation with an AI persona, like a customer call or a job interview. When they end it, Rehearse scores the attempt against your rubric and gives written feedback. Add a Rehearsal to any Online Course. It works in the Absorb Learning Mobile App too when Learners are online.
If someone disagrees with a score, they can request a manual review, once per attempt. You choose who receives requests. Reviewers open the attempt from the email, read the conversation and confirm or adjust the score.
- More information can be found in the Aura Rehearse and Absorb Learning Mobile App articles.
Rehearsal Reports
The new Rehearsals report shows attempts, passes, fails, average score and average time for each Rehearsal. Open one to see each person's attempts and scores. Access comes with the new Rehearsals permission, which is on by default for System Admin, Admin and Reporter roles.
- More information can be found in the Aura Rehearsals Report and Admin Roles & Permissions articles.
Credit Usage for Rehearsals
Aura Rehearse uses Aura credits, which are consumed for each completed attempt. Text-only Rehearsals consume 10 credits per completed attempt, while voice Rehearsals consume 20 credits per completed attempt. Admins can monitor Rehearsal credit usage from the new Rehearsals tile on the Credit Usage screen, or by adding the Credit Usage - Rehearsals widget to the Admin Hub.
- More information can be found in the Aura Credits System Overview and Widgets in the Admin Hub articles.
