  • Updated the Ideas Portal links for the Analyze Essentials Live Edit feature.

 

This quarter, Absorb LMS brings AI and smart automation together to make learning seamless for Admins to manage and Learners to engage in. Admins can manage workflows with automated tasks, automatic unenrollment and keep data connected across systems, while Learners engage anytime, anywhere with mentorship programs, and enhanced skills coverage—making learning easier, smarter, and more accessible for everyone. These features are designed to enhance User experience through modern and intuitive design, while providing extensive customization options for Learners and Administrators. These updates pertain to version 5.125.0 of the Absorb LMS.

Custom Tile Update

Video Tag Support

Added support for the video tag to allow for embedding videos in a Custom Tile

Style Tag Support

Added support for the style tag to allow for cleaner code. Follow these steps to apply style tags to existing CSS code:

  1. Group all CSS in the tile in once place between <style>…</<style> tags.
  2. Use CSS classes instead of adding inline CSS styles for each html tag.

Scheduled Enrollments

Absorb has added new functionality to Scheduled Enrollments to improve automation and customization. 

 

Adding Curricula and Course Bundles

Admins can now automatically add Users into Curricula and Course Bundles through Scheduled Enrollments

Custom Date Support for Enrollment Triggers

Admins can now select any custom date field assigned to a User (e.g., Promotion Date) as a trigger for Enrollment. This functionality is available across all Course types.
